Sally Armstrong, a human rights activist and a member of the Order of Canada, speaks to the Globe's editorial board on march 18 2013. A three time Amnesty International award winner, Armstrong has recently been appointed to the International Women’s Commission at the UN and is the author of Ascent of Women.
